Fines & Betting

Fines​

Every taw member must participate in all 4 Golf Champ majors.

  • Every missed major is a rumbler

  • Winner of each major golf champ earns themselves a rumbler nomination

  • ⁠Last place (including tie) will earn themselves a rumbler

  • Taw members can accumulate 4 losses (if you suck you suck)

  • All fines must be consumed by the end of Day 1 of Taw 2026

Team Deakin:

  • Van B = 2 x rumblers

  • Smith, Paolo = 1 x rumbler

  • Rob = 1 x nomination

Team Čolić:

  • Blake = 3 x rumblers

  • Keegan, Seb = 1 x nomination

Trophies at Play

​

Team competition: The Claret Jug 

  • Day 1: Matchplay Betterball

  • Day 2: Betterball Stableford

  • Day 3: Individual Matchplay

 

Individual competition (over the three days)

  • Green jacket: Individual with the highest overall points (stableford points)

  • Caddy overalls: Individual with the lowest overall points (stableford points)

  • MVP award: based on most wins then most points won for the team

  • Vibes award: voted by the majority

 

Betting Rules

  • You may bet on yourself

  • All bets need to be placed before the first tee-off of the day

  • Golf ball credits need to be used the day they are earned or forfeited

  • Points cannot be combined between players

  • No more than 3 fines per round can be given from one person to another

  • Closest to the pin must be on the green & longest drive must be on fairway
